Michigan's Opioid Laws: What You Need to Know
This resource highlights the changes in Michigan's opioid prescribing laws and what patients can expect when receiving an opioid prescription. Doctors will review medication history through MAPS, only prescribe a maximum 7-day supply for acute pain, educate patients on the risks of opioid use, and have patients sign an education form.
